Merino Guest Farm truly impressed during my recent business trip, serving as an ideal retreat amidst the stunning backdrop of Clarens. The location is splendid—extremely peaceful and tucked away, making it perfect for unwinding after long hours of work. One of my favorite features was the spacious room, which boasted a balcony offering breathtaking mountain views; it was the perfect spot to sip coffee in the morning. The staff were exceptionally friendly, always greeting us with warm smiles that made us feel right at home. I must say, though, that the breakfast left a bit to be desired—while the eggs and bacon were nice, I wished there were more options available to energize us for the day's activities. But don’t worry, there are plenty of activities around! We enjoyed long hikes through the beautiful landscapes and took a moment to bond over a well-deserved braai on Sunday night, which was delightful. If you’re looking to disconnect and immerse yourself in nature, Merino Guest Farm is definitely a recommendation from me!
